Service for Curtis White, 74, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, November 14, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. John Hall and Judge Kit Cooke will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, prior to service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Geoff Jackson, Garren Stevens, Caleb Stevens, Austin Ash, Tim Boedeker, Chris Boedeker and Ethan Adams. Curtis White passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born April 9, 1940 in Cleburne to Weldon Menefee and Willie Ethel Creswell White. He married Virginia Gayle Duvall on September 20, 1985 in Cleburne. He was the owner and operator of Cleburne Mechanical for over 35 years. He also was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. Curtis is survived by his wife of 29 years, City Councilwoman Gayle White of Cleburne; daughters Rene Jackson and husband Jerry of Dripping Springs, Rashel Stevens and husband Garrett of Burleson, DeAnn Ash and husband Dale of Cleburne, Mary Boedeker and husband Danny of Cleburne; son Roy Oswald of Mt. Ida, AR; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey, Austin, Abby and husband Ethan, Garren, Caleb, Tim and wife Lillie, Chris and wife, Andrea. He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Willie White.
