A memorial service for Del Watson Saldecke, 96, of Keene, will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Chapel. Pastor Benjie Leach will officiate. Del Watson Saldecke passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Keene. She was born July 23, 1920 in Keene to Coley George and Dora Louise Ranson Parkins. She married Charles Joseph Watson and he preceded her in death. She then married Lawrence Raymond Saldecke in 1998 in Loma Linda, CA and he preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2012. Mrs. Saldecke was a registered nurse for more than 60 years and taught at Cal State. She enjoyed snow skiing, ice skating and square dancing. She was of the Adventist faith and enjoyed working for the Adventist denomination. Survivors include her children, Tanya Watson of Keene and Robert Watson and wife Janice of Kentucky; grandchildren, John, Joseph, Elisha and Erin; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
