Donald Ramsey

Following a courageous battle with cancer, Don Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2015. A celebration of his life will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Don Ramsey lived a full and meaningful life filled with good friends, a loving family and lots of laughter. He was a hard-working man who never failed to put others before himself with countless acts of kindness. With an infectious personality and strong will, his life and presence filled a room. He had a huge heart and an even bigger smile. Don Ramsey loved his Texas Longhorns, took great pride watching his beloved granddaughter Canon cheer on the TCU sideline, and made incredible chili. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He is survived by daughter, Lesly Ramsey Charanza and her husband Tim Smith; granddaughter, Canon Elizabeth Charanza; brother and sister, Tommy Ramsey and Frances Shannon; and 9 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, Gussie and Buck Ramsey; brothers, Jack Edwin Ramsey and Bill Ramsey; and sisters, Betty Covington and Patricia Ramsey.
