Service for Donald Modell Robinson, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:30 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 in the Westhill Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Grange Hall Cemetery. Mr. Tommy Johnston will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dustin Lewis, Derek Ball, Brandon Estes, Stephen Britt Jr., Gary Don Robinson Jr. and Chad Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Lewis, Taylor Lewis, Alan Robinson, Marcus Britt, Patrick Britt, Jarron Robinson, Jamison Robinson, Leighton Rhodes and Mike Cagle. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Robinson passed away, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 in Ft. Worth. He was born Jan. 14, 1936 in Kopperl to Modell and Leona Hadley Robinson. He married Brenda Gayle Godbey on Oct. 3, 1964 in Alvarado. Mr. Robinson was a dispatcher for Bell Helecopter. He served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard for nine years. He was a member of the Parker Church of Christ, the Masonic Lodge of Burleson and Rio Vista and a member of the Eastern Star in Rio Vista and Blum. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Robinson of Cleburne; children, Billy Joe Robinson of Midland, Sharon Kay Estes and husband Chuck of Abilene, Donald Robinson Jr. and wife Michelle of Cleburne, Shelby Britt Jr. and wife Jodie of Ft. Worth, Stephen Britt of Weatherford, Traci Lewis and husband Mark of Dennis and Kim Hamilton and husband Mike of Cleburne; brothers and sisters, Roy Lee Robinson and wife Jonni of Cleburne, Nona Lee Valaro and husband Dominique of Cleburne, Melvin Robinson and wife Lana of Granbury, Alvin Robinson and wife Sylvia of Cleburne, Tommy Robinson and wife Donna of Cleburne, Ronnie Robinson and wife Kaye of Cleburne, Donnie Robinson and wife Glenda of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., Ricky Robinson and wife Carol of Cleburne and Johnny Robinson and wife Debbie of Cleburne; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gary Don Robinson, sister, Flossie Robinson and granddaughter, Salinda Britt.
