Service for Donald Jackson Way, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Garry Way will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Donald Jackson Way passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. He was born June 14, 1934, in Snyder, Texas to Andrew Jackson and Hattie Bell (Morgan) Way. Don attended Sweetwater, Texas, Junior High and High School and went on to attain his doctorate degree at Louisiana Baptist University. He married Lois Marie Webb on December 14, 1952, in Sweetwater, Texas, at Lamar Street Baptist Church. Don was a former pastor of (Chase Avenue Baptist Church) Bible Baptist Church of Cleburne from 1975 to 1985 and had lived in Cleburne since retiring in 1995. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. Don was a member of Central Baptist Church in Alvarado. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Marie; sons, Garry Way and wife, Jullia, of Gainesville, Terry Way and wife, Karen, of Burleson, and Greg Way of Austin ; brother, Dean Way, of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Rachael Suggs and husband, Joe, of Haltom City, Richard Way and wife, Stephanie, of Houma, Louisiana, Brandon Way and wife, Jennifer, of Austin, Brittany Rogers and husband, TJ of Cleburne, Cody Fox and wife Tiffany of Cleburne, Chelsi Fox of Burleson, and Kyler Burgess of Burleson; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mickey Way; and sister, Joy Gunkel.
