Service for Donna Gail Davis Thomas, 69, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 19, 2015 in the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. The Reverend Paul Pinyan and Brother Jackie Mears will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garrett Moore, Nolan Moore, Jimmy Fricks, Matthew Moore, Vincent Moore, and Bret Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Donna Gail Davis Thomas passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Grandview. She was born December 12, 1945 in Havanna, Arkansas to Wayman Douglas and Frannie Cottner Davis. She married Kenneth Lowell Thomas on May 16, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Thomas was a LVN and a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ken Thomas of Rio Vista; two daughters, Tracie Thomas Moore and husband Vincent and Toni Thomas, all of Rio Vista; son, Travis Thomas of Temple; 12 grandchildren, Garrett, Nolan, Desiree’, Haze, Elizabeth and Matthew Moore, Madison, Bret, Zane and Emma Thomas, Sarah and Isaac Holt; four great grandchildren, Tynlee Moore, Brand Fricks, Miley Moore, and Logan Lynn Moore due on March 5th; and two sisters, Susie Cox of El Paso and Margo Cisco and husband Chad of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
