Service for Doris Rice Morris, 91, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday 11, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Prices Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday May 10, 2020 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Russell Morris, Terry Morris, Mike Morris, Gary Dempsey, Ross Jackson and Greg Lumm. Honorary pallbearers will be all her nephews. Doris Rice Morris passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born November 19, 1928 in Walnut Springs, Texas to William and Lucy (Pugh) Rice. Doris married Deral Morris on September 4, 1948 in Meridian, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended 3 Nails Bible Church. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful mother-in-law. She loved decorating, crafts and was very talented in crafts. She loved nature and birds. Doris was an excellent seamstress and sewed all her life. Doris is survived by her daughters, Barbara Littlejohn and husband Butch, Brenda Bourquin and husband Johnny; grandchildren, Dale Bourquin and wife Kim, Troy Bourquin and wife Missy, Todd Bourquin and wife Kerry, Emily Pope and husband Joe, Jackie Banda and husband Jordan, Cindy Littlejohn and wife Tonisha; 16 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother Wayne Rice and wife Sara; sisters Shirley Kettler and Christina Marsh and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Deral Morris; parents; brothers, Crawford Rice, Hubert Rice, Gene Rice, Orval Rice, Elbert Rice; sisters, Ruby Case Willie Mae Garner,Jimmie Helen Rice, Marguerite Dempsey. In lieu of flowers of flowers memorial may be made to the Audubon Society or Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.
