Graveside service for Dorothy Jean Gaines, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 at Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Dorothy Jean Gaines passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born July 5, 1933 in Bono to Lonnie and Ida Agusta Brachwitz Graham. Mrs. Gaines worked as a clerk for a number of years at Rangaire, where she received numerous honors and recognitions. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Dorothy was a proud member of Johnson County Iris and Lily Guild and Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her beloved son, Ralph Wayne Edwards and wife Pat of Kyle; grandchildren, Jamie and Patrick Manske of Dripping Springs, Jonathon and Leigh Edwards of Austin, and True and Jeff Lukowiak of New Jersey; numerous great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ralph Edwards; second husband, Troy Gaines; son, Michael E. Edwards; and brother, Bobby Graham.
