Service for Earl Green, 73, of Cleburne will be conducted at Noon, Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Bishop Charles Chandler will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Beasley, K.R. Johnson, Willie Williams, Andrew Irvin, N.H. Laseman, Dan Bodine, Tom Fuelmer, and Curtis Ashley. Inurnment will be in DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Earl Green passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born April 6, 1941 in Waco to RA and Carrie Dixon Green. He married Norma Littles on November 7, 1964 in Cleburne. Mr. Green served in the United States Army for 10 years and retired after a service related injury. He was Chief of Juvenile Probation for Johnson County with 12 years of service and previously was a Police Officer and Detective for the City of Cleburne with 10 years of service. Mr. Green continued to assist and serve the youth of Cleburne after his retirement. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Norma Green of Cleburne; four children, Rayamada Cephus of Cleburne, Elezya Lane of Arlington, Stacy Loveless and husband Melvin of Garland, and Victor Littles and wife Ebony of Plano; aunt, Marie Smith; three brothers, RA Green, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Larry Green and wife Jean of Benbrook, and Harold Daye and wife Linda of Ft. Worth; sister, Erma Kelly of Ft. Worth; 13 grandchildren, Kendra Simon, DeRonn Littles, Chezarae Littles, Julian Brown, Michaeux Ervin, Joshua Abbe, Ulysses Lane, Raisa Lane, Tristan Littles, Daryn Howard, DjMontre Littles, Melvin Loveless, Jr., and Donavan Howard; 16 great grandchildren; other devoted family, sister-in-law, Mary Ella Green; daughter-in-law, Charlottee Littles; and family friends, Amanda Evans, Andrew Irvin, and Jimmy Brookins and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, Versie, Frank, George, and Donald.
