A memorial service for Elizabeth “Liz” Jean Minyard, 71, of Granbury, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Lakeside Baptist Church, 500 W. Bluebonnet Dr. in Granbury. Pastor Mark Forrest will officiate. Elizabeth “Liz” Jean Minyard passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born May 5, 1943 in Villisca, Iowa to Bernard and Ruth Eberly Kinnersley. She married Billie Minyard on December 28, 1994 in Portland, Oregon and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2014. Mrs. Minyard was a school bus driver, retiring from Beaverton School District in Oregon. She was of the Baptist Faith. Liz will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, John Paul Lawson Jr. of Portland, Oregon, Duane Allen Lawson of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Patty Jaques of Orting, Washington; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, June Ervin of Newark, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
