F.H. Armstrong

Memorial service for F.H. Armstrong, 95, of Godley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Charles Schneider will officiate. Mr. Armstrong passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 8, 1918 in Corona, NM to Francis Harvey and Ella Omelia Denney Armstrong. He married Lela Juanita Hill on Jan. 11, 1946 in Wichita Falls and she preceded him in death in 2004. Mr. Armstrong served his country proudly in the United States National Guard. He worked as a pattern maker until retirement. He was a hard worker who enjoyed doing yard work. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his children, James Carl Armstrong and wife Linda, Kathryn West, Norma Hempel and husband Donald, Francis Wyatt Armstrong and Laura Jones, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
