Service for Gary Emmett Colmer, 75, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 21, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Chuck Mellott will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 A.M., Monday, prior to the service. Gary Emmett Colmer passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Ft. Worth. He was born Sept. 10, 1941 in Cleburne to Emmett Jake and Lela Dea Burkleo Colmer. He married Adrienne Starr and she preceded him in death on April 26, 2017. Mr. Colmer was a loving husband and brother. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Carpenter’s Church. Survivors include his sister, Lela Hanna and husband Jerrell of Godley; niece, Karen Horn and husband Gary of Bluff Dale and Mark Hanna and wife Stacy of Cleburne; numerous other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and cousin, Bob Jones and wife Wanda of Joshua. He was preceded in death by his parents.
