Graveside service for Gayle Marie Thompson Warner, 69, of Arlington, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Greenlawn Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6- 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2020 at the funeral home. Gayle Marie Thompson Warner the matriarch of our family passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 in Arlington. She was born January 28, 1951 in Cleburne to James and Lorenza (Smith) Thompson. Gayle was a member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church and worked with the children’s ministry and choir. She was a funny no nonsense person who loved and supported her family. Gayle is survived by her daughters, Robbie Scott of Dallas, Yolanda Franklin and husband Rafael of Frisco, Tiffany McCarty of Arlington; sister Sue Crowder of Arlington; grandchildren, Zoe Franklin of Frisco, Holli Selmon of Dallas, Ethan Franklin of Frisco and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends. Gayle is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny Washington, Joseph Washington; sisters, Linda Thompson and Yvonne Edison.
