A Memorial Service for Gene Wheaton Dennis, 89, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Heritage Trails Nursing Home. Inurnment will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson Oklahoma. Gene W. Dennis passed away Wednesday April 19, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born September 25, 1927 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lowell Wallace and Mildred Jane (Reid) Dennis. He served his country proudly in the US Army and was a Purple Heart recipient. Gene Dennis is survived by sister Peggie, daughters Pamela, Brenda, Kimberly and Nancie, granddaughters Jennifer and Erica, grandsons Richard, Jared and Brandon, great-granddaughter Shaylona, great-grandsons Andrew and Matthew, and great-great-granddaughter Camilla. He was preceded in death by his father Lowell, mother, Mildred, sisters Lorraine and Patricia, brothers Wallace, Glen and Rex.Obituary
