Graveside service for George Michael “Pete” Buckaloo, 65, of Blum will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Blum Cemetery. The Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. George Michael “Pete” Buckaloo passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born May 11, 1952 in Phoenix, AZ to George Arthur and Vera Claudine Clay Buckaloo. He married Debra Faye Steagall on March 20, 1971 in Blum. Mr. Buckaloo worked as a forklift operator for Johns Manville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and a friend to many. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Debra Faye Buckaloo; children, George Ray Buckaloo and wife Crystal of Cleburne, Monty Lee Dale and wife Aimee of Rio Vista and Sheila Darlene Buckaloo of Blum; mother, Tiny Buckaloo; grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Hunter, James, Michael and Brooklyn; great grandson, Raylan; siblings, Susan Mayfield of Odessa, Ronny Buckaloo and wife Mary of Blum, Johnny Buckaloo and wife Jo of Rio Vista, Vickie McCready and husband Mike of Cleburne, and Debbie Robinson and husband Johnny of Cleburne; and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his father; nephew, Truckey Buckaloo and a brother-in-law, Richard Mayfield.
