Service for Geraldine “Jerry” Moore, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 21, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M., Friday, prior to the service. Geraldine “Jerry” Moore passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 31, 1925 in Bosque County to John and Janie Pinckard Parker. She married Jerry Don Moore on May 31, 1944 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death in 2001. Jerry was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to many. She loved helping others, cooking, and baking chocolate and coconut pies. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her children, Jenny Leck and husband Steve of Cleburne and Jerry T. Moore and wife Janice of Coppell; grandchildren, Lauren Stevens and husband T.J. and Jennifer Moore; great grandchildren, Jordan, Cannon and Jett; sister, Polly Hanshew; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
