Service for Glenn Alton Harwell, 78, of Lake Palo Pinto, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Sergio Sandoval will officiate. Burial will be in Watts Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bo Henderson, Lario Vasques, Mat Cox, David Upchurch, Billy Shipley and Jeff Rasnick. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lyons and Austin Strickland. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home. Glenn Alton Harwell passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Palo Pinto. He was born on January 8, 1939 in Randlett, OK to William Grant and Leota Amanda Postalwait Harwell. Glenn married Sally Ann Walraven on Nov. 15, 1964 in OK. Mr. Harwell served in the United States Air Force and worked as an electrician with Lockheed, retiring with 17 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Sally Harwell of Palo Pinto; four children, Ty Harwell and wife Yoli of Granbury, Naoko Harwell (Keith Homan) of Joshua, Theresa Henderson and husband Bo of Palo Pinto and Tammy Borden of Ft. Worth; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Gaylord Harwell.
