Service for Harold Stephenson “Steve” Jones, Jr., 69, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 25, 2015, in First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Dr. David denHartog will officiate. Burial will be in DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Steve passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Dallas. He was born September 3, 1945 at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio to Harold Stephenson Jones, Sr. and Dorothy Gray Tucker Jones. He married Janie Wiley on October 6, 1973 in Wilmore, KY. Steve was a recording engineer and attended First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Janie Jones of Cleburne; daughters, Anne Katherine Jones of Washington, D.C. and Amy Jones Haywood (Karl) of San Diego, CA; sons, Peter W. Jones of San Diego, CA, and David T. Jones (Chiho) of Sherwood, AR.; four grandchildren, Patrick, Lily, and Paige Jones, and Madison Haywood; brother, Daniel F. Jones (Lillie) of Salida, CO; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
