Private services for Harold Eddins, 83, of Joshua, will be held at a later date. Mr. Eddins passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Burleson. He was born to Eugene Robert and Melinda Catherine Allen Eddins on April 1, 1928 in Lula, Mississippi. He married Delyne Walker on September 1, 1951 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Harold loved her from the minute he saw her until the minute he passed away. He worked for the U.S. Government and retired after 25 years with the F.A.A. as an Electronics Technician in Alaska. Harold was a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ. He had a strong will and dedication to his faith. He was a concerned father, until his last breath even. He loved to travel. He spent countless hours working on genealogy and bible study. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother, Robert Eddins. Survivors include his children, Les Eddins, Patty Markley and her husband, Dan, Marcia Young and her husband, Neil, Cathy Temple and her husband, Rick; sister, Ann Duplentis; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Interment Cheyenne, Wyoming
