Graveside service for Harold Penney, 85, of Burleson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 8, 2016 in Marystown Cemetery in Johnson County. Chaplain Larry Schneider will officiate. Harold Penney passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 in Fort Worth. He was born Nov. 25, 1930 in Covington to Paul and Nellie Mae Fuqua Penney. He married Frances Price in 1957 in Ft. Worth and she preceded him in death in 1991. Mr. Penney was a loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather; brother; uncle and a friend to many. He served in the United States Army and worked at Safeway, retiring with 31 years of service. Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Veanueva and husband Henry of Burleson; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Casselman and Clay Dean Penney, both of Ft. Worth; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Fay Roys; and two brothers, Fred Holland Penney and James Roy Penney.
