Service for Helen Baze McNatt, 89, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 25, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Randy Burch will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Coty McNatt, Jeremy McNatt, Dylan McNatt, Ethan McNatt, Bryan Kruse, and Payton Thrasher. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Helen Baze McNatt passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Keene. She was born July 17, 1926 in Johnson County to Hubert Alvin and Myrtle Estelle Stanley Baze. She married James O. McNatt on March 22, 1944 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death in 1997, after 53 years of marriage. Mrs. McNatt and her husband lived in the Lone Willow Community for almost 20 years before moving to Rio Vista in 1964. She worked at Rangaire, retiring with 26 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista since 1966. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Burch and husband Tommy of Rio Vista; daughter-in-law, Carolyn McNatt of Itasca; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Effie Abernathy; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, James Larry McNatt in 2012; four brothers and two sisters. The family would like to give a special thanks to Home Health, Mission Hospice, and the family members who also cared for her so she could remain at home; and to Town Hall Estates for their loving care.
