Funeral services for Homer Hanna, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Henderson Street Baptist Church. the Rev. Brad Riza and Mr. Kern Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Lindsey Upshaw, Wayne Birchfield, Curtis Birchfield, Tommy Owens, Claude Moehlman and Mark Hanna will serve as pallbearers. Alfred Harwell and James Buchanan will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Hanna passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Fort Worth. He was born July 13, 1939 in Meridian, Texas to Archie Homer, Sr. and Gladys Mae Roye Hanna. Homer married Martha Jane Lee on October 15, 2005 in Burleson. He was a longtime member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. He retired after 33 years service as a machinist with the Santa Fe Railroad. Homer was a member of NARVE. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Homer was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Neoma; and siblings, Mildred Hanna, Marcus Hanna, and Evelyn Hanna Stanford. Survivors include his wife, Martha Hanna; children, Dan Hanna and wife, Katherine, Donna Fowler and husband, Steve; step children, Karen Buie and husband, Scott, and Delbert Holt and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Shellie Gentry (Jason)and Trudy Hernandez (Marco); step grandchildren, Sarah Sublett, Shaina Holt, John Buie, Scotty Buie and B.J. Bench; great grandchildren, Julien Gentry, Emma Gentry, Hannah Sublett, Maxwell Davis and Olivia Cruz; one brother, Gerald Hanna and wife, Lela; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
