Jack Terry

A graveside service for Jack David Terry, 72, of Rowlett, will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne, Texas. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Jack David Terry passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Rowlett. He was born April 13, 1942 in Littlefield to Raymond B. and Ethel Mae Keefer Terry. He married Peggy Lee West on June 20, 1998 in Cleburne. Jack earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University, where he was also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a retired Sales & Marketing Manager for United States Gypsum Corporation, with 35 years of service. He was fun-loving and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends and family. Jack Terry is survived by his wife Peggy Terry; daughter Shannon Terry; granddaughters Sydney and Delaney Delgado; father and mother- in-law Edward and Leta West; brothers and sisters-in-law Cindy Steadman, Marvin Steadman, Sandra Cain and Jerry Cain; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond B. and Ethel “Pat” Terry and brother Marvin R. Terry.
