Service for James Bryant, 75, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Sand Flat Baptist Church. The Reverend David Hampton and The Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Burial will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. James Bryant passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born September 5, 1938 in Ivanhoe, Texas to John Hill and Ella Lucille Curry Bryant. He married Carolyn Kromis on February 3, 1967 in Long Beach, California. Mr. Bryant was a veteran in the United States Army, serving in Korea. He worked as an electrical engineer for Air Liquide and was a jack of all trades. He was a Boy Scout leader, and an active ham radio operator with an extra class license. James was president of the Southern California Muzzle Loader’s Association. He also enjoyed gardening and restoring antique radios and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Bryant; sons, Douglas Bryant and Jeffrey Bryant; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Hunter Bryant; brother, Tommy Bryant and wife Becky; sisters, Glenda Maudlin and husband Alan and Judy Duncan and husband Melvin; and several other relatives and friends.
