Graveside services for James Keen, 54, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. James Keen passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Cleburne. He was born Aug. 30, 1960, in Amarillo to Robert Lee and Laverne Grant Keen. He married Anna Marie Taylor on May 8, 1989, in Newport, Ky. Mr. Keen worked as a painter in construction. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Survivors include his wife, Anna Taylor Keen; mother, Laverne Grant West; children, Jennifer Keen, James Lennis Keen Jr. and wife, Melany Paffumi, Ayla Laverne Keen, Crystal Taylor and husband, Scott Wood, Nathaniel Taylor and wife, Summer, Stephanie Taylor and husband, Johnny Bennett, Dustin Smith and Damon Smith and wife, Andrea; brothers, Sterling Jeffery Keen and wife, Zandria, Kenneth Keen and Larry Joe Gladney; sisters, Robbie Padgette, Melissa Whithead, Yvonna Derington and husband, Terry, and Mary Wells and husband, Chris; 26 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda Holmes, James Clyde Grant and Lennis and Sarah Keen; father, Robert Lee Keen; stepfather, Joe Calvin Gladney; daughter, Deah Keen; and uncle, Truman Keen.
