Graveside service for J.D. Westerman, 83, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00P.M., Friday, April 23, 2021 at the funeral home. J.D. Westerman passed away April 21, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born February 21, 1938 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He married Hazel Marie Maxwell on October 25, 1958 in Cleburne. J.D. was a truck driver before retiring in 2005. He was a hard worker all his life. He was young at heart and loved to laugh and bring laughter to others. J.D. never slowed down and was fearless. He loved to sit and visit with those he loved. Family came before everything even before himself and protected them above all else. He liked gardening and believed in doing things the right way. J.D. is survived by his wife, Hazel Westerman; daughters Marie Morris and Sandra Westerman; grandchildren, Christina Valentine, Randall Morris, Brandon May, D.J. May, Rocky May and Makayla Thompson; 9 great- grandchildren; sister, Loretta Wolf, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. J.D. is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Edward Westerman and Gloros May (Yancy) Reagan; numerous siblings and granddaughter Dianna Morris
