Service for Janis Marie Gray, 74, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, Ricky Yates, Ronnie Turner, Christian Forrest, Michael Murry Forrest and Ray Triplett. Honorary pallbearers will be George Sowell, Joe George, Cliff Holden and Charles Lummus. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday. Mrs. Gray passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in North Richland Hills. She was born Aug. 30, 1937 in Lillian to Luther Burleson and Omega Cronkrite Renfro. She married William McAlister Gray, Jr. on December 6, 1957 in Cleburne. Mrs. Gray was a retired sales clerk with 17 years of service at Beall's Dept. Store in Cleburne. She was the caretaker of her family all of her life. She loved traveling, all things antique and people. She was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Childs and husband Jeff; grandsons, Alex and Zac Childs, all of North Richland Hills; sisters-in-law, Grace Renfro of Cleburne and Laura Gray of Burleson; brother-in-law, Thomas Gray; three nieces, Grace Wright, Deanna Gray and Nicole Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Omega Renfro, husband, Bill Gray, Jr. and one brother, Vaughn Renfro.
