Private memorial services for Jennie Estes Clingerman, 82, homemaker of Cleburne, will be conducted at a later date. Mrs. Clingerman passed away Monday, January 8, 2013 in Fort Worth. She was born to Herbert Marion and Martha Ann Heisley Chilson on August 7, 1930 in Troupsburg, New York. Jennie married Ray Estes in 1945. They were married 16 years at the time of his passing in 1961. She married Leonard Clingerman in 1971. They were married 13 years at the time of his passing in 1984. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Geneva, NY. Jennie was a lifetime member of the VFW, Waterloo, NY. She was known for her strong will and giving nature. She never withheld her opinion or her help for those she cared about. She believed in keeping her mind sharp and could be found working crosswords while drinking her coffee at any given moment. Jennie will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; 2 daughters, Jeanne Coon and Laurie Pierce; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include her son, Ray Estes; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
