Service for Jesse Glenn Carroll, 54, of Poteet, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Godley Western Fellowship Church. Dr. R.D. Noel and Pastor Don DeFoor will officiate. Burial will be in Veal Station Cemetery in Springtown. Pallbearers will be Bobby Tatum, Toby Ross, Billy Sopher, Terence Hersom, Ryan Carroll, Kenneth Kammer, and JR Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Carroll, Steve Carroll, Danny Carroll, Larry Buckner, Rodney Bailey, Jerry Bailey, and Michael Bailey. Jesse Glenn Carroll passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in Jourdanton, Texas. He was born August 29, 1960 in Fort Hood to Burl Jr. and Shelia Hill Carroll. He married Lorri Lynn Kammer on March 18, 1983 in Weatherford. Mr. Carroll drove a truck for over 30 years, from over the road, a wrecker and his own hot shot truck. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Lorri Lynn Carroll; children, Candis Carroll Ross and husband Toby and Cristal Carroll Buckner and husband Larry; six grandchildren, Carli, Hailie, Kelsi, Angela, Callista, and Jesse; mother, Shelia Hill Carroll; brothers, Danny Carroll and wife Mary, Howard Carroll and wife Lynda, and Steve Carroll and wife Nancy; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
