Private graveside services will be conducted for Jo Glennelle Wicker, 94, of Cleburne, will be conducted June 16, 2020 in Green Acres Memorial Park. Reverend John Glover will officiate. A public visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 16, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Jo G. Wicker passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born June 1, 1926 in Sweetwater to Walter Glenn “W.G.” and Frances (Dennis) Thomas. She married Tellus Jonah “T.J.” Wicker on June 16, 1946 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death in 2012. She was a purchasing agent for Santa Fe Railroad. She was a very sweet lady, God fearing and faithful. She was a good friend and a wonderful mother. Mrs. Wicker was a long-time member of Field Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Diane Eckles and husband Frank of Bryan, and Celia Albertson and husband Sonny of Cleburne; grandchildren, Chad Kilpatrick and wife Shelly of Austin, and Monica Castro and husband Phil of Atlanta, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Charlie Kilpatrick, Ava Castro, and Olivia Castro; and sister, Dee Smith and husband Roy of Lubbock. Also preceding her in death were her parents. The family would like to give a special thanks to Community Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Community Hospice or Field Street Baptist Church.
