Service for John W. Story, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 in the Greenacres Mausoleum Chapel. Pastor Kevin Bentley and Pastor Greg Robinson will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Greenacres Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Story passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born Feb. 21, 1923 in Holiday to John Wilmer Sr. and Ivy Melissa Dobson Story. He married Doris Valdine Montgomery on March 9, 1944 in Cleburne. Mr. Story served in the United States Navy and was a retired lineman with 30 years service for Lonestar Gas Co. He also was a self-employed photographer. Survivors include his wife, Doris Story of Cleburne; two daughters, Sharon Jiles and husband Steve of Cleburne and Gayla Fulenwider and husband Ron of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren; Mindi Bentley and husband Kevin of Cleburne and Daniel Fulenwider of Grand Prairie; one great grandchild, Lauren Bentley of Cleburne and sister, Wanda of West Texas.
