Graveside service for John D. Williams, 66, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 12, 2014 in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Roger Heath Polson will officiate. John D. Williams passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born March 15, 1948 in Mexia to John Howard and Betty Jo Anderson Williams. He married Melba Jeanette Hamm on July 31, 1971 in Hillsboro and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2009. Mr. Williams served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as supervisor of building maintenance, retiring from the City of Cleburne. Survivors include his son, Jason D. Williams and wife Stephanie of Alvarado; three grandchildren, Shaina, Brad and Elizabeth; brother, David Williams and wife Christine of West; and a sister, Susan Hawkins and husband Terry of Hillsboro.
