A visitation for Jonathan R. Cavender, 53, of Rio Vista will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Jonathan R. Cavender passed away Thursday, September 6, 2015. He was born January 18, 1962 in Roanoke, Al to Charles and Gladys Holder Cavender. He married Susan DeAnne Jones on March 30, 1996 in Rio Vista. Mr. Cavender served in the United States Navy and worked in the oil field. He loved the outdoors and fishing and was of the Baptist faith. Jonathan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include the mother of his children, Susan Jones Cavender; children, Trevor Cavender, Travis Cavender, and Traci Cavender; and close friends, Scott and Christi Kempi and Jimmy McWhirter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.
