Graveside service for Juanelle Brunson, 77, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 9, 2020 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2020 at the funeral home. Juanelle Brunson passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020, in Fort Worth. She was born January 20, 1943 in Crosbertown, Texas to Otis Maner and Dana Elizabeth (Jones) Applegate. She was a wonderful “teacher”, taught her daughters how to be exceptional mothers. Juanelle was the best Mimi. She had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone. Our family thanks God for blessing us with such a wonderful wife, mother and Mimi. Juanelle is survived by her loving husband, David R. Brunson; daughters, Tina Hundley and Debbie Brown; son, Scott Brunson; sons-in-law, Doug Hundley and Marcus Brown; grandchildren, Corey Hundley and wife Robin, Brody Hundley, Kyle Santiago and husband Alex; great-grandchildren, Bree Hundley, Brooks Hundley, Brazos Hundley and Olivia Santiago; sister, Donna Rose Vaughan and husband Bill; brother, Darell Applegate; niece, Carla Brunson; cousin, Dora Boyle; close friends, Betty Mears, Carolyn Harwell, Shannon Watts, Rhonda Maxwell and many more friends. Juanelle is preceded in death by her dear, beloved mother-in-law, Ora Brunson; her parents; brother, Maner Applegate; sister, Wanda Quisenberry and aunt, Mertel Hodges.
