Service for June Hope Hammond, 76, of Burleson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Aaron Scarborough will officiate. Interment will be in Grange Hall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Murdick, Michael Maxfield, Clint Casillas, Hayden Prather, Dustin Fletcher, Kenny Sanders, Jeff Finley and Eric Yarger. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, at the funeral home. June Hope Hammond passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 in Burleson. She was born Dec. 19, 1940 in Burleson to Clyde Lee and Christine Jones Hope. Mrs. Hammond worked in retail sales until retiring. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sons, Stephen Leck and wife Jana of Burleson, and Perry Roop and wife Donna of Joshua; granddaughters, Mollie Prather and husband Hayden of Cleburne and Madison Leck of Burleson; great grandson, Samuel Prather; step granddaughter, Diana Savage; step grandson, David Savage; step great granddaughter, MaLeah Savage of Joshua; sister, Donna Anderson of Burleson; nephew, Dustin Fletcher; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Hammond; brother, Bobby Hope; and numerous other family and friends.
