Graveside service with military honors for Kenneth Allen Rice, 66, of San Juan Capistrano, CA. will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Keene Memorial Park, Keene, Texas. Pastor Rob Shephard will officiate. No visitation is scheduled. Mr. Rice passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2012 in Laguna Hills, Calif. He was born March 19, 1946 in Chicago, IL. to Vernon W. and Edythe L. Armando Rice. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in manufacturing as a design engineer for 20 years. Survivors include his mother, Edythe Rice of Georgia; brother, Arthur Lee Rice; sister, Luci and husband Kenneth; step daughters, Kellie Young and husband Michael, Kristie Schrum and husband Erick; nieces, Lauretta Colvin and husband Tom, Angela McBride and husband Mark and Katherine Roberts; nephews, John Kenneth Roberts and Michael Roberts; great nieces, Caitlin Colvin, Gillian Colvin and Rachael McBride and great nephews, Sean Mark McBride and Joshua McBride.
