Service for Koleen Brown Threadgill, 62, of Godley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at Georges Creek Cemetery in Somervell County. Pastor T.J. Joyner will officiate.

Koleen Brown Threadgill passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Burleson. She was born Feb. 28, 1953 in Cleburne, Texas to Woodland Samuel and Betty Seward Brown. She married Danny Threadgill on April 28, 1973 in Godley.

Mrs. Threadgill attended school at Godley and was a retired beautician. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Godley. She was full of life and loved her family with all her heart.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Danny; daughter, Amber Taves and husband Matt of Galveston; son, Dwane Threadgill and wife Mary of Godley; grandchildren, Haley, Noah, Gracie, Kassie; great granddaughter, Layla; step grandchildren, Jessie, Andrew, Joe, Maggie, and Maria and their children; mother, Betty Brown; sisters, Beverley Davis and Gwenda Carrell of Godley and Sharon Lawler of Glen Rose; and numerous nieces, cousins, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Woodland and brother, Ronald Dwane Brown.
