A graveside service for LaVerne Cordelia Bicknell Huffman, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Donna Ware will officiate. Laverne Huffman passed away October 5, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born December 30, 1931 in Cleburne to Clinton and Alma Bicknell. She married Roland Huffman in Cleburne. Laverne was an abstractor in the title business. Laverne was a loving, giving and kind person. She would do anything for those in need. She lived out her faith in loving her church, her friends, her family and her neighbors. She enjoyed her pets and diligently cared for them. She was passionate about her dolls and ceramic roosters and chickens. But most of all she just loved hanging out with family and always looked forward to getting together. LaVerne was an awesome mom and will be dearly missed by many. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Duvall; son, Randy Huffman and wife Heather; grandchildren, Amber Clutz and husband Andrew, and Krystal Huffman; great-grandchildren, Dawsan Lackey, Morgan Lackey, Kylie Huffman, and Hadley Baker; brothers, Gene Bicknell, and Melvin Bicknell; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends. She was preceded by her parents; her husband Roland Huffman; grandson, Darryl Wesley Lackey, Jr.; brothers, Clinton Bicknell, J.E. Bicknell, Alvin Bicknell and Brian Bicknell.Obituary
