Lee Bingham

Lee Edward Bingham, Jr., 68, of Cleburne, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Cleburne after a long illness surrounded by family. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Steve Dill will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be cousins, Rocky Walton, and Ronny Walton and nephews, Ray Waits, Steven Cooper, Jeff Ownbey and Rocky Whitehead. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Bingham was born Nov. 28, 1943 in Blanton, TX to Lee Sr. and Lily Skiles Bingham. He married Janice Winelle Ownbey on April 19, 1961 and they spent the next 50 years together. Mr. Bingham was a self-employed truck driver for many years before retiring in 2006. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bingham was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lily Marie Waits; baby sister, Cheryl Lynn Bingham and wife, Janice in 2011. Mr. Bingham is survived by his children, Cindy and Charlie Hall and Ricky and Vickie Bingham, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Rachael and Kory Geesaman of Ft. Worth, Taryn and Paul Daniels of London, England, Cameron Hall of Cleburne, Blake Bingham of Cleburne and Bailey Bingham of Sulphur Springs; the joys of his life, great-granddaughters, Jordyn and Kynlee Geesaman and his soon to be born great grandson, Caden Eric-Lee Hall. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Margaret Waits, Judy and Gary Johnson, Truitt and Pat Ownbey, Kenneth and Joan Ownbey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close family and friends.
