A visitation for Lenora “Nora” Billings, 93, of Burleson, formerly of Cleburne will be held from 5-7:00 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Lenora “Nora” Billings passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 in Burleson. She was born March 10, 1923 in Joliet, IL. to James Lloyd and Lettie Malmstein Cardiff. She married William Elton Billings in 1942 in CA. and he preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2005. Mrs. Billings worked as an office manager for AnWright Corp., an aerospace manufacturing company, until retirement and was a former member of the Cleburne Newcomers Club. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She enjoyed people, arts and crafts, and playing volleyball. Nora will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her son, Ronald E. Billings of Burleson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ethelyn Gray; and a brother, Marshall Cardiff.Obituary
