Leslie Glenn Crecelius passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 surrounded by his family. Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan 23rd at Southwayside Baptist Church, 301 E. Thornhill Dr., Ft. Worth, TX. Burial: private. Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mission:Dignity, 2401 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75201 to assist retired Ministers and their Spouses. Glenn was born Feb. 13, 1930 to John and Lottie Crecelius in Rio Vista. He married Lonene Matthews on June 12, 1949 in Blum. He was a direct descendent of Jesse Gaines Crecelius, a Baptist preacher and member of the Mississippi Legislature. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and son-in-law Steve Hill. Survivors: Wife of 67 years, Lonene Crecelius, daughters Carolyn Jean Hill, Glenna Abraham and husband George, grandchildren Dr. Martin Loicano and wife Sarah; Dr. Christopher Abraham and wife Dr. Courtney Fleenor-Abraham; Lesley Abraham; great grandson Thomas Martin Loicano.
