Leta West

Service for Leta West, 81, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 4 ,2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Leta West was born Nov. 18, 1932 in the Parker Community, Johnson County to William Fred and Nanny Byers Hall. She married Edward Lee West on July 3, 1952 in Ft. Worth. She was an employee for Marti Electronics and Wall Industries and was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church. She loved sewing, cooking and especially loved her family and church. Leta West is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Lee West of Cleburne; three children, Cindy Steadman and husband Marvin, Sandra Cain and husband, Jerry, and Peggy Terry; five grandchildren, Christy Brooks and husband, Jody, Angela Hudson and husband, Jonathan, Jeremy Steadman, Grady Cain and Shannon Terry; seven great grandchildren, Hunter and Logan Brooks, Michael and Edward Hudson, Kylie Steadman, Sydney and Delaney Delgado; brother, Nathaniel “Bub” Hall, and sister, Barbara Morris and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Lynn West; parents; brothers, Marshall Hall, Roy Hall and Marcus Hall; sister, Lucille Anderson and son-in-law, Jack Terry.
