Service for Lillian Anne Phillips, 64, of Elephant Butte, NM, formerly of Joshua, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Butch Lindsey will officiate. Burial will follow in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Phillips passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 in Elephant Butte, NM. She was born Dec. 1, 1948 in Phoenix, AZ to Bill and Dollie May McDonald Strong. She married Jack Phillips on Sept. 15, 2007. Mrs. Phillips was a long-time Joshua resident before moving to New Mexico five years ago. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Jack Phillips of Elephant Butte, NM; daughter, Tammy Dodson of Joshua; son, Doug Dodson, Jr. of Las Cruces, NM; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Polly Lindsey and husband Butch of Joshua; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Gatzke; son, Bill Dodson; and brothers, Bill Avett, Jimmy Garrett and Bradley Garrett.
