Linda Jean Burge

A memorial service for Linda Jean Sconce Burge, 70, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 in the Church of The Holy Comforter in Cleburne. Father Christopher Woodall will officiate. Linda Jean Sconce Burge passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 6, 1947 in Gainesville to Sam and Linnie Laverne Landers Sconce. She married Robert Burge on Nov. 20, 1971 in Dallas. Mrs. Burge and her husband were owners of Bob Burge Appliance. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Linda was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter. Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert Burge of Cleburne; daughter, Denise Joslyn and husband Rick of Grand Prairie; son, Tommy Dooley and daughter-in-law, Deanne; grandchildren, Chelsea George and husband Tyler, Nick Joslyn and Cheyenne Joslyn; great grandchildren, Addison George, Carson George and Corbin George; one brother, Jerry Sconce of Gainsville; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sammie and Clyda.
