Graveside services for Linda J. Stewart, 61, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, in Covington Cemetery. Mr. Kenton Harvey will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Peacock, Garrett Peacock, Mark Tittle, Randy Watson, Jason, Doty and Jason Gross. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Barker and Bill Peacock. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stewart passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, in Hill County. She was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Tarrant County to Thomas Armstrong and Maggie Jane Worlow Petty. Linda married Roger Dale Stewart on Aug. 13, 1970, in Stockton, Calif., and he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2013. Mrs. Stewart worked as a licensed vocational nurse. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Barker and husband, Blake, and grandson, Mason Barker, of Cleburne; one sister, Evelyn Joyce Petty Peacock and husband, Bill; brothers, M.T. Petty and wife, Betty, and Harold Lee Cotton Petty and wife, Gracie; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Weldon Ray Petty and William Carroll Petty.
