Service for Linda Sue Thomas, 69, of Keene will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Buel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Linda Sue Thomas passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Keene. She was born Aug. 29, 1947 in Ft. Worth to Kenneth and Georgia Louise Wood. Ms. Thomas worked for the USPS, retiring with more than 20 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many. Linda was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Thomas and husband Dennis Birchfield of Keene; son, Michael Thomas and wife Lynette of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Brandon Birchfield and Danielle Birchfield; sister, Olena Gregory of Cleburne; brother, Kenneth Wood and wife Terri of Keene; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
