Graveside service for Lloyd E. Fannon, 85, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Father Terry Reisner will officiate. Lloyd E. Fannon went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Ft. Worth. He was born on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1927 in Venus to Clarence Everette and Grace Beatrice Johnston Fannon. He married Jeanette Marie Comeaux on Dec. 4, 1948 in Galveston and she preceded him in death on Aug. 27, 2006. Mr. Fannon served in the United States Coast Guard in the Atlantic during World War II. He worked for Houston Credit Sales for most of his adult life until retiring. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include four children, Rick Fannon and wife Jana of Midlothian, Connie Fannon of Alvarado, Kathy Pehnke of Burleson and Jim Fannon and wife Sherry of Burleson; four grandchildren, Lori Westbury, Christopher Durant, Jennifer Pehnke and Camron Steele; one great grandchild, Whitney Westbury; sister, Billye Leonard and husband Claude of Arlington; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Wilma Lewis and Wanda Myers. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
