Service for Lloyd Harper, 82, of Grandview, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Sandflat Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tray Cagle, Brandt Self, Zach Spohn, Chance Lee, Tem McCollum, Justin Conner and Calvin Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Spohn, Jaxen McCauley, Myler Lee, Brayden Lee, Kinsler Spohn, Cason Barrett, Brye Conner, Kayden Delap and Sawyer Delap. Lloyd Harper passed away January 8, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born August 27, 1937 in Glen Rose to Lloyd Sr. and Jessie (McCoy) Harper. Lloyd married Betty Ruth Rogers on March 1, 1956 in Cleburne. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grandview and a retired U.S. Navy naval recruiter with over 20 years of service. Lloyd was a member of the Masonic Lodge #315 in Cleburne. Lloyd is survived by son, Mike Harper and Karla of Grandview; daughters, Debbie Cagle and Tem McCollum of Grandview, LeAnne Self and David of Cleburne; grandchildren Rendan Spohn, Tray Cagle, Regan McCauley, Brandt Self, Brittny Lee, Tiffany Conner, RiLeigh Harper; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephew and friends. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents and wife Betty Harper in 2015.
