Lonene Crecelius, 85, of Ft. Worth, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Ft. Worth. Mrs. Crecelius was born Aug. 1, 1930 in Johnson County to Lonnie Lewis and Lula Lavada Summers Matthews. She married Leslie Glenn Crecelius on June 12, 1949 in Blum and he preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2016. Mrs. Crecelius was an accountant for Sears and Roebuck Company, retiring with 26 years of service and also taught pre-schoolers at Broadway Baptist Church for 15 years. She was a member of Southwayside Baptist Church for over 50 years. Per her request there will be no service. Memorials: Mission:Dignity 2401 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75201 to support retired Ministers and their widows. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Jean Hill of Ft. Worth and Glenna Abraham and husband, George of Arlington; grandchildren, Dr. Martin Loicano and wife, Sarah, Dr. Christopher Abraham and wife, Dr. Courtney Fleenor-Abraham, and Lesley Abraham; great grandson, Thomas Martin Loicano; sister, Alene Cox of Ft. Worth; and a brother, James Louis Matthews of Godley. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; two brothers; and son-in-law, Steve Hill.
