Graveside services for Lou Ann Lipe, 69, of Venus, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco under the direction of Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Lou Ann Lipe passed away in Waco on Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was born to Cecil and Jane Summers Harrington on May 1, 1942 in Dallas County. Lou Ann worked as an Optical Technician with Southwest Lens for over 15 years. She was of Christian faith. Lou Ann had a love for life and laughter. She was caring and loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. She enjoyed shopping and taking care of her family. Her laughter and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lou Ann is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Beverly Foster, James Lipe and Cathy, and Tammy McMennamy and Jim; grandchildren, Clinton, Nikki, Sarah, Trevor, Kaitlyn, Dustin, Phoenix, Lauren, and Vincent; 5 great grandchildren; brother, David Paul Harrington; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
